Live! Casino & Hotel executives and staff rallied together to orchestrate a turkey giveaway in South Philadelphia. With the average cost of a 16-pound turkey exceeding $27, this act of generosity alleviated the financial strain on many families during the holiday season.

Philadelphia City Councilmembers Kenyatta Johnson and Mark Squilla joined the efforts, actively participating in the distribution at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia on Packer Street. Councilmember Johnson highlighted the growing demand for assistance, stating, “We’ve seen an uptick in the amount of calls that we’ve been receiving as it relates to individuals asking for turkeys, and so we see that there’s a need out there when it comes to addressing the issue of food insecurity.”
