Jack Grealish, 27, made a young fan’s dreams come true when he celebrated his World Cup goal with a dance taught to him by the boy, Finlay.

Finlay got in touch with Jack, whose sister Holly also suffers from cerebral palsy, with an emotional letter, before Jack wrote his own letter back.

Finlay wrote to Jack with a letter which read: “I’m a huge Man City and England fan. I have cerebral palsy and I saw that your sister has cerebral palsy too.”

The young boy added: “I love the way you are really good with your sister; you really get it. You always have her there with you.”

Finlay added that he would love to meet his idol and give him a high five, and with that Jack organized a visit to see Finlay and meet him in person.

This is when Jack made the promise to Finlay that he would wave his arms in a ‘worm’ style dance for him when he scored his next goal.

When he scored a goal against Iran at the FIFA world cup 2022, Jack fulfilled his promise to Finlay.

Following the game, Jack shared a picture on his Twitter feed of him doing the dance and captioned it with: “For you Finlay.”

And the youngster was delighted at the special tribute. Finlay said: “Oh my God, that’s the best thing ever. “He’s my best mate, I love you Grealish.”

The two also outfitted Finlay’s tribute T-shirt before they kicked off the round 16 matches against Senegal to show off the unbreakable bond.

“These moments of wholesome connection are priceless. From every player to every fan across the country, when we say we are behind this England team, this is why,” Jack said.
