A mom who hadn’t seen a son in 10 YEARS surprised him from Africa
It was a moment that had been in the making for 10 long years.
And for one Massachusetts man, it was too much to emotionally handle.
The man, Jeffrey, had not seen his mother, Madeline, for a whole decade, because she lives in Libreville, Gabon, and had not been able to get to the US to see her family because of visa and financial reasons.
When Jeffrey’s brother arranged for their mom to come to visit, it became a moment none of them will forget.
Jeffrey and his partner, Shannon Slattery, welcomed a son earlier this year, so the trip was built around Madeline being able to meet her grandson.
Jeff’s partner commented We’re so happy to share this tender moment with the world. His mom lives all the way in Libreville, Gabon. We had a baby 8 months ago and she got a visa and came 23 hours of traveling to surprise him.
Jeffrey’s brother flew in all the way from Florida to meet him and his newborn baby Christian. As soon as Jeffrey enters his home, he is overwhelmed to see his brother and is still in the dark about his mother’s presence.
The moment he catches her first glimpse, he runs to a corner and literally drops down in a pool of tears. His mother consoles him and embraces him.
