As Clyne, 35, reached into his pocket for the ring box, anticipation hung in the air. But then, in a heartbeat, the box slipped from his grasp and plunged into the water below.

Without a second thought, Clyne took the plunge after it. The video captures the tense moments as he disappears underwater, leaving Tucker, 32, in a mix of surprise and concern. Recalling the incident with the Daily Mail, Clyne recounted, “I had the ring in my back pocket and when I went to reach for it, the corner of the ring box got caught on the top of my pocket and slipped out of my hands, bouncing into the water.” Panic set in, but Clyne’s instinct was clear: retrieve the ring at all costs. “Everything was a blur after that. I panicked and reacted by lunging for the ring box before it could sink, not caring if I fell into the water. Luckily, I was able to recover the ring!”

The video quickly gained traction, with 1.5 million likes and nearly 28,000 shares on TikTok alone, proving that sometimes, the most memorable moments are the unplanned ones. Clyne’s bold dive into the Gulf of Mexico was a testament to the lengths we’ll go for love and a story that will be told and retold for generations to come.
