Settling for a job that just “pays the bills” is dangerous and affects all areas of your life — your relationships, your overall happiness, your health, your financial well-being, and even your self-image. The reason? Well, subconsciously you become someone who settles for mediocrity.
As I mentioned in my video, if you don’t love what you do, you’re probably not going to be that good at it.
But, if you do work you love what you do, you’re training your mind to become an achiever. You become someone who strives for greatness in all aspects of life. True or true?
If you’re not sure, try asking yourself these questions:
- What are you curious and excited about?
- How do you enjoy your spare time (or what do you want to do in your spare time)?
- What could you learn and talk about for hours?
- What are your natural talents?
This is an absolutely crucial step if you want to become successful. If you don’t really, really, really enjoy it, then it’s NOT your passion.
Once you find your why, give it everything you’ve got. It may require extra effort—the work that really means something always does, but you won’t even consider it work because that’s how you’ve always wanted to spend your free time anyway.
You will fill your life with peace, fulfillment, gratitude, diligence, and at some point, you will want everybody around you to do what they love too.
Start Choosing Both Passion AND Profit
Life is short — don’t waste it doing something you don’t love! It’s time to stop choosing between your happiness and your income — start choosing BOTH PASSION AND PROFIT.
Sure, you can be “happy” settling for a job or working just for the money. But that type of happiness comes and goes.
If you love and care about what you do, not only will you find lasting happiness, success AND wealth — you’ll enjoy the journey as much as the destination.
Take the time to go through these steps, explore your possibilities and see what fits — it’s NEVER too late to start.
