New Year celebration in Seoul supported by Hyundai motor compnay
Automotive giant Hyundai lit up the sky in Seoul with an impressive drone light show to countdown the world into the new year. The drone show was also part of the COEX hosting a huge fireworks display to celebrate the New Year each year, with Hyundai being a major sponsor for the show.
About 1,000 drones were used in the show to take off in sets creating a visually pleasing layered effect as the drones begin to fly into formation. The first image created was forming into two hands with snowflakes in between. It then changes into an image of the two hands slowly connecting to float high on the sparking milky way.
The drones then began the countdown to the new year. The drones then formed “2023” and displayed simulated fireworks. In celebration of the beautiful and shining New Year, hoping our dreams leap higher and farther.
Before the end, the drones formed a leaping human to symbolize love, health, success, joy, and happiness to the world for everything we wish will come true. The final message from the Hyundai company was saying “In 2023, may the shining days be with each of you.”
