Karolina Protsenko: Pure emotion hiding in the gentle and warm tone
Karolina Protsenko is a 14-year-old violinist who is considered an excellent violin prodigy. She has been playing the violin from a very early age and has completed her classical training. Ella Protsenko, Karolina’s mother, has always been an inspiration to her. She has accompanied her daughter in some of her performances and is an excellent singer.
Karolina Protsenko was born in Ukraine to parents Nikalay and Ella on October 3rd, 2008. She moved to the United States with her family when she was only 6 years old in 2015. Her parents have a great inclination towards music especially playing the guitar.
Karolina started out learning to play the violin in 2014 but didn’t start busking until 2017. She really enjoys her public performances and is often recorded by members of the public. Once people began uploading their videos of Karolina busking to YouTube and Facebook, her performances started to go viral! Her passion for performing is quite clear when you watch her play and is one of the main reasons, she has gained many adoring fans across the world.
Her favorite busking location in Santa Monica, the 3rd Street Promenade, which she repeatedly returns to with her instrument to serenade the crowds. For a young woman to already have mastered her instrument to such a high standard it’s exciting to watch where how her career will progress. Karolina has also teamed up and created videos with Italian saxophonist Daniele Vitale to boost her fan base across Europe.
In one of the videos, many passersby looked over the mother-daughter. Some also stopped by to see their performance. Further, their video blessed thousands that hundreds couldn’t help but leave their comments on Karolina’s YouTube videos.
