The Eagles went with the detail-oriented motto of “Everything Matters” in 2019. In this crazy pandemic-driven world, they have been going with something a little stronger.

According to cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, the team was adhering to the motto, “We Are Stronger Together,” to guide their 2020 season. It was directly related to the novel coronavirus as every player has been forced to hold themselves more accountable than usual. Masks must be worn inside the practice facility. Curfews were being enforced at the team hotel. And having too much fun “outside their bubble” was a no-no.

“We are stronger together. That was our whole motto all offseason,” Robey-Coleman said. “Coach Pederson been harping on that with us. Just knowing that hey man, we’re all in this thing together, we got to do this thing together. No man is left behind.”

“We’re all out here sharpening iron, trying to get to know each other better,” Robey-Coleman said during a training camp. “Talking and communicating … just getting to know each other’s personalities and how we could formulate the defense and just make it easier for everyone to work better and to work smarter.”

The Eagles also care and support hundreds of non-profits in the Greater Philadelphia area through year-round Community Relations efforts. Core to that work is the Eagles Care initiative built off of their belief that strong non-profits build strong communities. Through these season-long strategic partnerships with non-profits, they can jointly increase the positive impact on a community they share.

Eagles Care was established to create annual, strategic partnerships with local nonprofits to increase the impact of the team’s community efforts. Each of these three partners has the comfort of consistent and conscious support from the Eagles to create mutually beneficial and measurable results.

The Eagles believe there is no offseason to good citizenship, and they are pleased to partner with Food Moxie, Fred’s Footsteps, and Women Against Abuse as they work together to strengthen and support a high quality of life for generations of Eagles fans.
