If you’re telling yourself “my life sucks”, you might be in a bad place right now, a place where your life feels small, chaotic, and out of control.
We all have these periods where our life feels like it has spiraled out of our grasp, and the only thing we want to do is retreat and let it eat us alive.
But eventually, you have to stand up again and face your demons.
You need to get away from the distractions and instant gratification and deal with your problems head-on until you stop feeling like a failure.
So if you think that your life sucks, here are 5 things ruin your life
1. Not Speaking up
One of the reasons why a lot of people don’t speak up for themselves is because it’s uncomfortable. Real growth and real happiness come from dealing with uncertainly and the fear associated with discomfort.
2. Do destructive thigs
Smoking cigarettes, too much drinking, and excess illicit drugs. It might be fun now and you might not suffer the consequences or the ramification now but later on, down the road, you are going to wish you didn’t.
3. Not taking care of yourself emotionally
You got to protect yourself. You got to be in a healthy relationship. You’ve got to be around people that love you, want the best for you, are supportive.
4. Appreciating what you have and where you are
So often, you get so fixated and focused on looking long-range at what you want, what you need, what you think is going to mean happiness when you really need to stop.
5. Not forgiving yourself
You suck sometimes in our life but you got to be able to let it go and forgive yourself. Let yourself be human. We are not perfect, we never will be. Let it go. Don’t let the past dictate your bright future.
You and you alone are so incredibly powerful and you have the ability to change pretty much anything in your life but you have to put yourself in the right mindset.
