Yazi Yolcusu uses a fork to create beautiful calligraphy
Turkish artist Yazi Yolcusu creates absolutely gorgeous calligraphic masterpieces using a fork dipped in ink as his pen. Yolcusu skillfully employs all or some of the tines on the fork to achieve various forms of depth and shading to his excellent lettering. He also has a wonderful sense of humor about his quirky choice of writing instrument, using its shadow to complement his work.
Yazi Yolcusu simply means “Text Traveler” in Turkish. Every calligrapher has a unique way of doing their work. They make drawing from their own perspective and experience with plain white paper.
